District 9 Promo Trailer

District 9 is something that I have been looking forward to for a while. Neill Blomkamp came onto my nerdar when he released his Halo short films. I quickly checked out his other shorts and was duly impressed. His ability to integrate CG elements into what looked like documentary footage was impressive and marked this young director as someone to watch. What follows is not a normal theatrical trailer but a production promo and it should be noted that it does give plot away, so if you want to go into this film cold and without knowledge of the plot do not click play.

What he uncovers is a giant conspiracy involving the government, Roswell, and a group of crazed European vampire hunters. Also it’s a lot of fun.
