Centurion Gets Magnet-ized!
I was about to go to bed until I just read the good news that Magnet just announced they were distributing the new Neil Marshall film Centurion.
The news comes from Screen Daily
We here at Paper Spaceships love Neil Marshall’s previous 3 films, which are genre nuts wet dream. Dog Soldiers, The Descent and Doomsday would be amazing if made by three separate directors, but that the same man did them all makes it even more amazing.
Part of the wonderful Six-Shooter Films series, Magnet didn’t announce this sixth film because it wasn’t official yet. So I can’t wait to see some second century Romans invading Britain type of action.
Check out the Trailer:

Not really one for reading a book because the movie’s about to drop, I was so fascinated by the trailer for Cormac McCarthy’s The Road I had to break tradition. That, and the fact that Viggo Mortensen (great actor) and Charlize Theron (hot) are headlining the film. A Pulitzer Prize winner, The Road is simply a tale of a father and son traveling to a hopefully safer and warmer part of a post-apocalyptic America. Simple the plot may be, but what entails in their journey is certainly far from it. There are more than a few horrifying scenes here, and I feel comfortable saying The Road is one of the most bleak novels I have ever read.
